Prestige Institute Of Technology & Science - An Overview

PITS B.Ed College is a first ever premier B.Ed college established at the border area of Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. College is situated at Netala village at the bank of river Bhagirathi, one of the main tributaries of holy river ganga. The college offers Bachelor’s degree course in the field of education. A B.Ed programme is being started with an affiliation of Uttarakhand Technical University. The College is also recognized by National Council for Teacher Education.

PITS is committed to produce highly skilled personnel who possess devotion and dedication towards teaching, ultimately bring a pool of professionally qualified teachers.

Our Foundation

Uttarakhand is also known as “Dev Bhoomi” which means “Land of Gods” and is also known well for education. However, hilly areas of Uttarakhand are facing migration of people towards plains in order to acquire higher professional education. PITS is devoted to retain the brilliant minds of the hills to train them well as a potential and a dedicated teacher.

The institute is formed under “Sadbhawna Shiksha Prasar Samiti”, registered under Societies Act 1856 to set up a B.Ed college at Netala, Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand.
